Community (Rom. 15:1-7)
Romans 15 gives us the Who, the How, and the Why of all true Christian community.
The Who: Our community exists for the strong and for the weak. (Rom. 15:1-2)
The How: Our community is built around the Word of God. (Rom. 15:4)
The Why: Our community exists because of the Gospel. (Rom. 15:7)
We experience genuine community through Midweek, Sunday Morning Small Groups, and other events.
Discipleship (Duet. 6:4-9)
Discipleship is the lifelong process of following Jesus and growing as a disciple. Deuteronomy 6:4-9 outlines four pillars of biblical discipleship that we aim to follow.
Discipleship is theological: We learn to think right thoughts about God.
Discipleship is transformational: We are transformed by His Word and His Spirit.
Discipleship is intentional: We grow in Christ and learn to make disciples together.
Discipleship is relational: We are involved in the lives of others.
Our strategy for discipleship is through discipleship groups, which we call DNA Groups.
Mission (Acts 4:1-13)
As followers of Christ, we are messengers who bring the message of salvation to the world around us.
The Message is both powerful and personal. It is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.
The Messengers are bold, ordinary people who have been transformed by the presence of Jesus in their lives.
We live on mission together by engaging in personal evangelism, local outreach, and global
